Location
Strategically located on Highway 29, 200 km's northeast
of Edmonton in the County of St. Paul #19. St. Paul is considered
the service center of Northeast Alberta. Provincial and Federal
Governments recognize St. Paul as a major cog with many regional
offices located here.

Economic Base
Its major economic strength is agriculture and
the service industry and therefore has maintained a large degree of
stability during the oil boom and bust cycles. Major agricultural
products include poultry, processed feeds, canola seed / legume seed,
beef, honey, coarse grains and dairy products.
Population
An agricultural based community has enabled St.
Paul's economy to remain stable, resulting in moderate growth over the
years. The 2004 Population 5144 from 5061 in 2004. St. Paul maintains a
good mix of young and old residents and is an ideal community to
consider for your retirement.
Climate
Alberta enjoys four distinct seasons, with
approximately 2,263 hours of sunshine per year and 109 Frost Free Days.

newly paved 1,067 metre runway. Nearest commercial air services is at
the Edmonton International Airport - 225 kms southwest of St. Paul. |
